Jaclyn Boyle earns two awards at Honors Convocation

Jaclyn Boyle received the outstanding major awards in management and in interdisciplinary studies during the 2013 Honors Convocation at North Central College.

Jaclyn Boyle, daughter of William and Cheryl Boyle, of Elmwood, Ill., received two awards—the Outstanding Major in Management Award and the Outstanding Student in Interdisciplinary Studies Award—during Honors Day May 14 at North Central College.

A senior, Jaclyn has a double major in management and an individualized program in environmental studies at North Central College. She is a graduate of Lincoln-Way Central High School.

For the third straight year, North Central College joins The Princeton Review’s list of “greenest” colleges in North America for its ongoing commitment to sustainability.

The Princeton Review, in partnership with the U.S. Green Building Council, released its fourth annual “Guide to 322 Green Colleges: 2013 Edition.” The book includes a list of standards for judging some 806 colleges, as well as descriptions of each college’s environmentally conscious features.
