Will Sayer

Will is enjoying all the perks of a small school as he pursues physics and engineering degrees through North Central’s dual-degree program. A member of the Cardinals football team, he tackles difficult physics and math problems in small classroom settings and forms close relationships with many of his professors.

“It’s a lot easier to learn when you can talk to professors after class or meet with them during office hours,” he says.

Thanks to North Central’s location, Will is able to intern as a technician at Argonne National Laboratory. Many of his classmates are taking advantage of similar opportunities.

“You can also apply for internships at Fermilab or some of the engineering companies around Naperville,” he says.
