MIS Capstone Experience
The Master's Project is an intellectual endeavor which involves a sustained real-world application of the information, technical knowledge, and skills acquired during the student's graduate work. The work may vary quite widely, depending upon the interest and background of the student. The Project Course should normally be taken after all the major area courses have been completed or may be taken concurrently with the last course in his or her major area.
The Master's Project is intended to be a unique academic opportunity for advanced students to do specialized study in their area of interest. The Master's Project features individual design and initiative on the student's part, as well as considerable freedom during the time of the Project. The student and the Project Instructor should design the Project so that a first draft can be finished within one term.
