Academic Summer Classes
What are Academic Summer Classes?
The academic summer language classes are an extension of the intensive academic English language classes offered in our year-round academic English Language Institute. During the summer, classes are divided into two 4-week academic English sessions, providing 20 hours of instruction per week. Students will explore selected topics in a variety of exciting, fun, and challenging ways.
Students will learn and practice academic reading, writing, listening, speaking and grammar while exploring the communities around them and developing social and cultural skills and awareness. At least two courses will be offered each term, to be selected from the following options:

How do I apply for Academic Summer Classes?
Students follow our easy application process. Please note that students under 17 years of age may attend the summer academic sessions. Contact the program director for more information.
In order to apply to the English Language Institute, students must submit the following items:
|____||Completed and signed application form with appropriate financial documentation (as needed)|
|____||Copy of your passport identification page (include copies of your visa page and I-94 card if you are already in the U.S.)|
|____||The $100 application fee can be paid by:
*Check made out to North Central College drawn on a U.S. or U.S-affiliate bank OR
*Credit card (include a completed Credit Card Payment Authorization Form)
