The Office of International Programs takes orientation very seriously, as it provides a foundation for your time here. Please plan to attend all parts of orientation. Students on F and J visas are required to attend visa information sessions regardless of previous time spent in the United States.

During orientation you can expect to:

• Open a Bank Account 
• Get Your North Central Mailbox
• Get Your North Central ID Card
• Attend the Information Technology Orientation Session
• Take a Shopping Trip in Naperville
• Attend Residence Hall Floor Meetings
• Attend a Visa Basics and Government Session
• Attend a Library Orientation Session
• Attend a Cultural Differences in the Classroom/Academic Expectations Session
• Have Class Schedule 'Question & Answer' Time with your Academic Advisor
• Learn About Student Activities
• Find Out How to Pay Your Bill
• Learn about the Dyson Wellness Center  
• Visit the Bookstore to Purchase Textbooks
