Undergraduate to Graduate Pathways

Have a goal of pursuing a graduate degree in healthcare? At North Central, we’ve designed dedicated pathways that allow students to establish a foundation of knowledge in their undergraduate studies, build on their experience in a competitive graduate program and launch a successful post-graduate career in healthcare. We offer the following direct admission opportunities:

  • NCC DPT Guarantee Admissions into the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program
  • Occupational Therapy Dual Admission into the Master of Occupational Therapy Program
  • Selective Internal PA Admissions Pathway into the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies Program
  • 3 + 2 Track into the Master of Athletic Training Program

Additionally, North Central has strategically partnered with Lake Erie College of Medicine and Northwestern Medicine Clinical Schools to offer early acceptance pathways into health science programs North Central does not offer.

Honors Program Admission

Interested in the Honors Program? Our Express Lane admission program is designed to expedite your journey to becoming a Cardinal. Upon being notified of your admission and scholarship to North Central, pursue Honors Program admission via the Express Lane. Apply to the program by November 15 for a unique honors visit invite. Apply by January 15 to have the essay component of that application waived.

Excel Program

North Central College is excited to offer a new program for multilingual students to refine their academic English skills. The Excel Program prepares students for college-level coursework over 12 elective credits that also count toward their degree. Topics include research and academic writing, academic presentations, and analyzing academic texts. The program is open to applicants from inside and outside the United States.
