Students graduating in September, December, and April are invited to participate in the Commencement ceremonies in June. Undergraduate students may be granted permission to participate in the commencement ceremony without having all requirements fulfilled if:

1. they have an approved graduation application on file with the Office of the Registrar and at the end of Spring term a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better and their major GPA is 2.0 or better
2. they will complete graduation requirements by the end of the Summer term, for which they are registered (may be full-time)

Graduate students may be granted permission to participate in the commencement ceremony without having all the requirements fulfilled if:

1. the Project or Thesis is completed by the end of Spring term
2. only one course remains to be completed by the end of Summer term.

Students who qualify and wish to take advantage of this option must file both the Commencement Participation Form (page 2) and the Graduation Application on or before the Monday of the third week of Winter term. If either form is submitted after this date, the late fee structure described above is in effect.
