Summer Language Institute Counselor

The Summer Language Institute is a summer camp for high school and college students from many different countries. This program allows students to spend a portion of the summer studying language and culture in the United States. Each year the Office of international programs hires Summer Language Institute Counselors to build relationships with the international students, take the students on field trips, and assist students with their cross-cultural transition to the United States. Counselors play a vital role in making sure that students have an enjoyable, safe, and rewarding experience with the Summer Language Institute. There will be two programs in summer 2013.
