Study Abroad Fair
Please Go Away!
Abroad, that is! Each year, the Office of International Programs holds their Study Abroad Fair, or "Please Go Away!" Day, in the White Activites Center (upstairs). The fair takes place at the end of October and is open to all North Central College students, faculty and staff.
The fair features booths with representatives from all 45+ of our programs abroad. Fair attendees have the opportunity to meet with host institution international services staff, NCC students who participated on study abroad programs in the past, and current international students from our partner institutions abroad. Other booths at the fair include the NCC offices of Financial Aid, Residence Life, and Career Development. Study abroad students work closely with these three offices as well as the various academic and student services departments on campus. Study abroad is, after all, a campus-wide affair and the support of entire campus is what makes study abroad so successful for NCC students!
Fair attendees also have the chance to speak with OIP staff to learn their 'next steps' in the study abroad process, and can even enjoy international treats prepared by our international students and visitors!
