Studying in Scotland and the University of Dundee has been one of the best choices I've made. As a history major and music minor I feel right at home in a country that has so much to tell and to be proud of. The people are well rounded as are the teachers which allows for students of all cultural backgrounds to be appreciated as individuals as well as members of a global community. There are plenty of opportunities to learn about the Scottish culture and explore cultures from other parts of the globe since the amount of international students here is vast. Since being a student here at the University of Dundee I have joined the Chamber choir, the Rucksack club/hill walking, and am attempting to volunteer in the archives department. There is something for everyone here at the University of Dundee and I feel as long as you are interactive and keep a positive attitude the opportunities will make themselves known. So if you are unsure of which global adventure you want to explore, I would advise you look into what Scotland has to offer with her colorful history, warm hospitality, strong education, and unique energy.
