The Office of International Programs provides services to both international students studying at North Central College and North Central students studying abroad.

Mission Statement

North Central College has made a firm commitment to ensuring that students, faculty, staff and the Naperville community develop knowledge and appreciation of cultural differences in both domestic and international settings. For students, an education at this institution includes a global dimension gained through proficiency-based language learning, course work, internships, person-to-person contacts, study abroad, and travel.

The Office of International Programs provides vision and guidance for developing and implementing international programs.

IMPORTANT DATES!

OUTGOING

March 30, 2012.  $400 deposit due in the Office of International Programs (regardless of any pending financial aid or scholarship decisions); $200 will be refunded until April 29, 2012.

INCOMING

Applications for exchange students wishing to study at North Central College through one of our partner schools are due APRIL 1st.

Study Abroad

Applications for Fall 2012 Study Abroad Programs are still being accepted from January 31-March 2, but with a $50 late fee.  No applications will be accepted after March 2, 2012.  Education Abroad 2012-2013 Brochure

International Students

This year we have 56 non-immigrant international students from 35 different countries. For more details on our current students, please see our most recent Global Dimensions.

International Club

We would like to encourage everyone to get involved with international students. The International Club is one of the most active clubs on campus and organizes several events each term.

Friendship Family Program

Community, staff, and faculty members are encouraged to get involved with the students through our Friendship Family Program.
