Direct Enrollment Program - Fall Term
Located in the dynamic, multicultural, Central European metropolis of Berlin, Freie Universitat is one of Germany's premier institutions of higher education. Founded in 1948, with an enrollment of about 40,000 students, the University has a strong international profile and a large number of international students from all around the world. The program includes intensive German at all levels, courses taught in English covering such topics as cultural studies, art history, literature, European Union, history, politics, business, and philosophy. Program includes field trips, a week-long off-site excursion (inside and outside Germany), as well as various cultural events and activities.
Junior or Senior standing. GPA 3.0 preferred.
9-12 credits depending on courses selected.
Housing and Meals:
Single-occupancy, fully furnished studio apartment (no meals included) OR home stay (including breakfast and dinner).
NCC fall tuition + $3000 program fee. Fees include housing, placement, orientation two dinners, several concerts, operas, museum visits; monthly public transportation pass, health insurance, one long-weekend excursion, and course materials. Fees do NOT include meals (except for home stay option), airfare, departure tax, immigration and visa fees, housing deposit, personal expenses.
