Just 45 minutes by train from London, the University of Essex is located near Colchester, the Roman capital of Britain. The university, with a student population of 7500, is particularly highly regarded for politics and sociology; other strong areas include accounting/finance, economics, law, psychology, art history, literature, linguistics, Latin American studies and biological sciences. A Model UN society is also active on campus.
Eligibility Requirements:
Junior or Senior standing. GPA 3.0 preferred, with substantial course work in major.
Academic Credit:
9-12 credits depending on courses selected.
Housing & Meals:
Standard self-catering housing provided. Meals not included.
Estimated Costs:
NCC fall tuition + $3000 program fee (unless otherwise noted). Fees include placement, orientation and guidance fee as well as standard self-catering housing. Fees do NOT include meals, airfare, travel from airport to campus, health insurance, departure tax, visa fees, books, extra personal travel, and spending money.
