NCC Eligibility Requirements

Junior or Senior standing. GPA 3.0 preferred with substantial course work in major.

NCC Academic Credit

8-12 credits depending on courses selected.

Housing and Meals

Standard self-catered housing provided. Meals not included.

Estimated Costs

Participants pay tuition and a $3000 program fee to NCC.

Financial aid is applicable to these programs. However, all study abroad students should meet with a financial aid representative during the spring term to determine any changes/adjustments in their financial aid package.

Amber Cibrario

On our third day we went scuba diving and snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef.  We boarded a cruise ship in the morning that took us out to the outer reef.  At our first site, Bre and I went snorkeling and saw so many beautiful coral and fish.  I even saw a small sting ray.  It was so beautiful!  Then at our next site, we went scuba diving, which seemed more scary than skydiving!  After brief instructions, we put on all the gear, which weighs a ton when you are out of the water, and jumped in.  We practiced breathing underwater for awhile, and then went exploring the reef.  We got to feed fish and touch them and we saw a ton of nemos, or clown fish.
