What's Happening Now?

Nationally ranked, the North Central College Forensics Team is having a successful competitive season. The team consists of around 20 active members from various backgrounds and majors.  We attend two different National tournaments in the Spring including the American Forensic Association-National Individual Events Tournament (AFA) and the National Forensics Association Tournament (NFA).

What Events are Available?

We offer 11 competitive events from various genres including limited preparation and prepared speaking events as well as interpretation events and Debate.

Limited Preparation Events: Impromptu, Extemporaneous
Prepared Speaking Events: Informative, Persuasive, Communication Analysis (CA), After Dinner Speaking (ADS)
Interpretation Events: Prose, Poetry, Duo, Program of Oral Interpretation (POI), Dramatic Interpretation (DI)
