Lisa Lim completed her Ph.D. in materials science at the University of Minnesota in Fall 2005. Her research was in the area of design, synthesis, and characterization of polymers. She's currently a Senior Engineer at BD Medical in Salt Lake, Utah.  (5/10)

Barry Beetz earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering at the University of Illinois. He now manages his family's farm near Mendota, Illinois. Barry also serves as an elected director member of the LaSalle County Farm Bureau Board. (4/09)

Jason Tracy earned a second bachelor's degree, a B.A.S. in radiation therapy, at the University of Minnesota in 2005. He now works in radiation oncology at the V.A. Medical Center in Minneapolis and hopes to soon begin working toward a master's degree in medical physics. He and his wife Sarah are the parents of two children, Ella and Owen.(1/07)

2004

David Bopp graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. degree in civil engineering in May 2005. He was ranked in the top 3% of the graduating class in the College of Engineering! Dave now works as a structural engineer for Chicago Bridge and Iron in Plainfield, IL. (6/05)

Matthew Brolley graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in May 2005 with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering. Aaron Hankin completed a M.S. in physics at Central Michigan University., and is currently enrolled in the physics Ph.D. program at the University of New Mexico. He married Maiko Yamachika on August 8, 2009.  (9/09)

Jeffrey Perrine earned a B.S. in chemical engineering at the University of Minnesota. He is currently employed by General Mills in Hannibal, Missouri (4/09)

Eugenia (Rakhno) Perevalova earned a doctorate in medical physics at Vanderbilt University. She's currently a medical physicist at the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL.  Eugenia was married to Denis Perevalov in October 2012. 2009

John Bentel earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and is now working as a test engineer with Cummins in Columbus, Indiana. John says "I run the engines and collect data at the test center.  It's pretty much exactly what I was looking for, something fairly hands on having to do with engines." (12/10)

Nicholas Warrens earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in civil engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  His M.S. work focused on Environmental Hydrology and Hydraulic Engineering. Nic is currently a water engineer with CH2M Hill in Boston. (7/12)
