Heather Carlson has been elected a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). She was honored for her "distinguished contributions to computational chemistry, particularly incorporating protein flexibility into structure-based drug design and the development and mining of protein-ligand databases." Heather was also recently promoted to the rank of Professor of Medicinal Chemistry and Professor of Chemistry at the University of Michigan. (12/11).
