Radiation Therapy Program and Degree Options

North Central College's degree program in Radiation Therapy will prepare students for a career as a Radiation therapist. It is a 3+1 program with Northwestern Memorial School of Radiation Therapy. Students will spend three years at North Central College, where they will complete their liberal arts general education core along with prerequisite science and math courses. This will be followed by a 14-month clinical internship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. The student will graduate from North Central College with a liberal arts degree (either a BA or a BS) in Radiation Therapy. Note: Prerequisite courses and other requirements are subject to change.  Keep in contact with the Pre-Professional Health Program Coordinator for the most recent information.
