Chamber Singers

(MUS 307, section 5) Founded in 2008 by its director, Dr. Ramona Wis, Chamber Singers is a 16-20 voice select mixed ensemble of sophomore through senior vocalists chosen annually by audition.  "Chambers" programs a wide repertoire of music, from madrigals to avant garde and multicultural pieces; from vocal jazz to sacred repertoire; and from original student compositions to pieces performed by just the men or women of the ensemble.  Meeting once a week for two hours, members of Chambers also rehearse independently and in small groups throughout the week and work collaboratively to develop a rich learning experience in the process of preparing music for performance.
