Management Information Systems
Extensive course work in economics, accounting, management and computer science is required with additional courses recommended in speech, psychology, communication, law and English.
You can earn either a B.A. or B.S. in management information systems. Each degree option requires the following courses:

- BUS 446 Operations Research
- BUS 460 Management of Information Systems
- BUS 490 or BUS 465
- one of ACC 307, FIN 350, BUS 393, ECN 445, or BUS 420
- and a computer science minor consisting of at least 23.5 credit hours to include:
- IFS 104 Problem Solving Using Spreadsheets
- CSC 160 Computer Science I
- CSC 161 Computer Science II
- one of CSC 215, CSC 255, or CSC 306
- CSC 220 Computer Systems Concepts
- CSC 453 Systems Analysis
- CSC 460 Database Management Systems
- CSC 469 Data Communication and Networking
The B.S. requires an additional course in MTH 152 Calculus II.
Minor requires 18.5 credit hours, including: CSC 160, BUS 162, BUS 168, BUS 446, BUS 460, and BUS 490.
