Paving the Way to a Successful Career
Susan Evangelou '11 Interns at Caterpillar
"My internship with Caterpillar Inc. gave me the edge in an extremely competitive job market. With a background in English and journalism, I was able to apply my writing to multiple vehicles of the communications field, including website content management, newsletter distribution, digital signage and graphic design. Not only did I improve my writing skills, but I learned how to work in a team and to grow off of constructive criticism. I think the key to any successful internship is good supervision onsite and off, and the support of my faculty advisor always gave me that extra push to take advantage of my opportunities."
