Teacher as Leader in Curriculum and Instruction

Often teacher leadership is an unassigned role that emerges from needs to be addressed in the context of the teaching and learning environment. The department's curriculum and instruction master's program prepares graduate students to explore the role of and develop as teacher leaders.

Educational Leadership

The purpose of the Educational Leadership and Administration program (program for Type 75 eligibility in the area of General Administrative) is to develop educational leaders and administrators who have vision and possess a wide set of leadership and management perspectives and skills. The program provides graduate candidates with breadth of theory and practical experiences that provides them with the foundation of knowledge and performances necessary to facilitate the learning of all students.
