Certification Only

Teacher Certification - If you've already earned a bachelor's degree, you may take the courses needed to qualify for the following certification in Illinois public schools:

• Elementary - Type 03 (grades K-9)
• Secondary - Type 09 (grades 6-12) certification programs in the following subject areas: English; Mathematics; Science (with an emphasis in Biology, Chemistry or Physics); and Social Science (with an emphasis in History)
• Secondary - Type 10 (grades K-12) certification programs in Art, Music, Physical Education, or Foreign Language (with an emphasis in French, German or Spanish)
