Sesquicentennial Celebration
It’s just around the corner! This year’s Cornerstone Week (May 14-20) is packed with special Sesquicentennial features you won’t want to miss.
On Wednesday, May 16, we’ll screen the fifth and final installment of the College’s documentary series at 7:00 p.m. in Madden Theatre. "Moving Into the 21st Century" spans 1991 to 2012 and covers the presidency of Harold R. Wilde.
Be sure to stop by the site of the new Riverwalk Gateway on Friday, May 18. That’s when our traditional Cornerstone picnic returns – with a Sesquicentennial twist. From 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. we’ll have live music, a brief groundbreaking ceremony, and free lunch provided by a variety of Naperville establishments including Catch 35, Raffi's on 5th, Sullivan's Steakhouse, Eddie Merlot's, Heaven on Seven, Kumas, Café Buonaro's, Ted's Montana Grill, Tasso's Greek Cuisine, Kernal Fabyan's Popcorn, Belgio's Catering, Bangkok Village and Uncle Pete's Pizza.
As always, you can choose from a collection of North Central history books at the College Bookstore. And remember to submit your biographical information and share your favorite College memories with us. We always enjoy hearing from you!
